
Jeff Hughes
Europa Conference League (2021/22, 2022/23)
Northern Irish midfielder Jeff Hughes played in the UEFA Europa Conference League with Larne FC across two seasons, featuring in qualifiers against teams such as Bala Town and Paços de Ferreira. By then a seasoned professional, Hughes brought experience and composure to the NIFL Premiership side’s European efforts.
Hughes started his senior English career at the Bank, spending two campaigns with us, 2005/06 and 06/07. His first seaon was slow, just two goals in 24 outings, but he excelled under John Schofield, bagging nine times in 44 matches before moving to Palace.

Jorge Grant
Europa Conference League, Europa League (2022–2025)
Jorge Grant enjoyed three consecutive seasons of European football with Heart of Midlothian between 2022 and 2025. During his time in Edinburgh, Grant featured in Europa Conference League ties against notable opposition including Fiorentina and Istanbul Başakşehir. He was sent off against FC Zurich, becoming one of the very few Imps to play in Europe and get dismissed.
Before moving north of the border, Grant had been a standout performer for City, playing a pivotal role in the club’s run to the 2020–21 League One play-off final. His set-piece delivery, calmness in midfield, and eye for goal made him one of the most influential players of that campaign.
