Norton is a former Southampton and Stoke trainee who was most recently with Cheltenham Town. He’s only 22 and has appeared for Wales and Under 21 level, but has no goals in 55 senior appearances.
He’s the sort of player I imagine building up his career from the non-league scene, which is an indication (again) of what the free agent market has to offer.
