30-year-old Wickham is the obvious name that people will look at. He was at Forest Green for a spell last season before moving to Cardiff City. As a former England Under 21, he threatened to have a big career and yet has never really been prolific.
He is without a club, but is also likely to command a decent wage, which I’m not sure is something we’d stretch to.
