Conor Kane – Shelbourne – Left Back
Kane’s contract situation is a little different, as he’s playing in Ireland, so wouldn’t be available until November 2023. That doesn’t mean a move isn’t likely; Danny Mandroiu wasn’t out of contract when we lured him away. Kane plays for Shelbourne, having joined Damien Duff’s side from Drogheda. He is described as attacking with speed and quality, and the lure of a move to the English game could be too much. Also, given the success of Sean Roughan and the immediate impact Danny Mandroiu has, I’m sure we’re seen as an attractive option for Irish talent.
