Anthony Scully

I know, it’s not all incomings!! There was always going to be speculation around Scully, who was sensational for us in the early part of the season, and apparently he’s on the radar of a number of Championship clubs. The list has Blackburn, Millwall and Barnsley all interested and you could see those moves happening; Blackburn because of Tayo Edun and the relationship we have there, Millwall because he was with West Ham and knows East London, and Barnsley because he’d probably get into their team.

People will moan about selling our best players, but if someone brings £750,000 to the Imps this winter, we’re not going to be able to turn it down in my opinion. I have faith we’re going to have a better window than we did over the summer, and that might involve an outgoing, as well as incomings. After the Whittaker story, I think this is the next likely one to be close to the truth.
