Josh Sims
24-year-old Sims is a winger, and he’s a free agent. Morgan Whittaker, the player many believe was our target last night, played right wing or centrally, and Sims plays on either. He was last at Southampton, but has also appeared for New York Red Bulls, Reading and Doncaster last season. He impressed me when playing for Doncaster, and he’s got pedigree; he’s played for England at Under 17 through to Under 20 level. Sheffield Wednesday and Pompey were thought to be eyeing him earlier in the window.
