The Arsenal Link: Youngsters City Might Target

Ryan Alebiosu

Ryan Alebiosu is a versatile 18-year-old who has played as a winger, right back and midfield.  Think he may be a bit too young and inexperienced for us to get much game time here though and may be better suited to say a League 2 club where he may get more game time with a club with a small squad that could use his versatility.

George Lewis

George Lewis on his Arsenal trial and how he earned it

This is a total long shot, but my friend says he is ready for some loan experience: George Lewis Igabu-Ishimwe Maniraguha. Thankfully for the shirt manufacturers, he is just commonly known as George Lewis.

He will be 21 on the 16th of June and is another quite highly-rated winger currently playing in the Arsenal U23 side. They signed him from the Norwegian fifth tier after a scout saw him play in a televised tournament. They invited him over for a two-week trial where he impressed enough for them to sign him. He’s very raw and even the Norwegian coach that discovered him was shocked that Arsenal signed him because he hadn’t made more than a few appearances in the Norwegian League. Despite that, he does have blistering pace and we know Michael likes a player who is rapid..

He’s a winger who is right-footed but can play on either flank. Personally, I feel this lad is a bit too raw for Michael to be interested to risk throwing him into what might hopefully be another promotion chase.  He might be what is described as a project player, for Arsenal and for whoever he joins on loan.
