Zech Medley
Another player of interest might be Zech Medley. He’s a centre back, so you’d think it’s unlikely as we are pretty well stocked there unless Michael wants a replacement for TJ Eyoma, and extra cover after concerns around the fitness of Joe Walsh and Adam Jackson. Zack has captained the Arsenal U18’s and in 2018 made the bench for their Premier League game against Leicester City. He has also made an appearance in the Europe League and is another player that was sent on loan to Gillingham last season and recalled early. He went out on loan again, joining Kilmarnock where he got excellent reviews.
Zack Swanson
Zak Swanson is a versatile defender who has played right-back, left-back, centre back, and even stepped into midfield a for Arsenal U18’s, scoring twice and getting one assist in PL2 last season. He’s been at Arsenal since he was 8 years old and they now feel he is ready to go out on loan. With his versatility and ability to play equally confidently in a number of positions, he would certainly be a useful addition to any football league club with a small squad that needs cover for a number of positions. That fits Michael’s requirements for loan players, as we saw with Robbie Gotts, TJ Eyoma and Brennan last season.
