Young Player of the Year – TJ Eyoma

The Young Player of the Year Award really was between two players – TJ Eyoma and Brennan Johnson. Had the season finished in the middle of April, Johnson would have taken the SW award as he did the club’s official award, but TJ has been sensational since coming back into the side during the injury crisis. I really like this lad, I think he has a super future ahead of him as he’s proven himself to be adaptable, powerful and able to cut it with some very tough strikers. His block in the play-off final second leg helped send us to Wembley, but across the whole season, he has been excellent. He did save a couple of his best performances for last too, with his 8.9 from the play-off first leg his season highlight according to you. A worthy winner of the first-ever Stacey West Young Player of the Year Award.
