
We live in unprecedented times with hoards of people stuck at home with little to occupy their minds.
We’re all missing football, but now isn’t a time to be morose and downbeat; too many good people are out there saving lives for us to bemoan our lack of stimulation. Besides, when those great people at LISA have come up with a great competition to keep those young people amused, there’s little time to be bored at all. We’re involved too, I’ll be putting out some tips for the writing part of the competition, but there’s something for all ages of children.
So, without further ado, here are the details of the
3 SKILLS CHALLENGE
Choose any, or all, of the 1…2… 3 skills and you could win a prize!
Keep little hands & big imaginations busy with the IMPspired creative 3 skills challenge. We want to know what Lincoln City FC & Lincoln City Women FC means to you!
We’ve teamed up with the Stacey West Blog, Fans Player Scheme, BBC Radio Lincolnshire, our SLO’s & other supporters. We are also proud to have the support of both LCFC & LCWFC & the Lincoln City Foundation.
You can enter one or more challenge and as many times as you like – its free!
Picture – Age categories Under 5’s / 6-10 yrs / 11-14 yrs / 15-18 yrs

A piece of original art work which could be;
- A drawing
- A painting
- A collage
- A cartoon
- A photograph
Prizes include – Your artwork being used by the media teams at Lincoln City FC and Lincoln City Women FC to be showcased on their websites www.redimps.co.uk & www.lincolncitywomen.co.uk
Writing – Age categories 6-10 yrs / 11-14 yrs / 15-18 yrs

In no more than 500 words write about;
- A match day experience
- Why you like a particular player or other person at the club?
- What if you were the Manager?
- Or how do you think the stadium would tell its story if it could?
- It might be a piece looking back in time or to the future
Prizes include – Your piece being published by the Stacey West Blog (a great prize we might add…) and featured on BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Hope & Glory programme
Poetry – Age categories 6-10 yrs / 11-14 yrs / 15-18 yrs

To fit on a single page – Whether amusing or meaningful inspired by Roald Dahl or Julia Donaldson;
- A Rhyme or Limerick
- A Haiku
- A Sonnet
Prizes include – The opportunity to read your poem at a match or hear it read by Alan Long at a LCFC home fixture.
We would love you to produce your own work, but if you need the help of a grown-up that is fine too.
How to Enter
It’s free and you can enter one or more challenge and as many times as you like. Just please follow the rules below for each entry submitted.
- Attach your finished work to an email and send it to ladyimps@mail.com
- Include your NAME, AGE, and please include a contact name of a grown-up.
- You can take photos of your work too – just ask someone if you need help holding it up in good light so we get to see all the detail.
We will have some handy tips to share from our own IMP experts and we will be sharing some of the entries on our social media so keep a look out and see if yours is shown.
The closing date is Friday 8th May 2020 @ 7.00pm
We have a panel of guest judges who will be helping us select the winners and winners will be contacted directly before being announced.
