Three Benefits We’d Like To See After Imps’ Break

Liam Bridcutt Settles

Liam Bridcutt is class. His arrival, albeit on loan, underlines the progression the club has made on and off the field. He is a player who will feel he should be in the Championship, with good reason. Right now, we’re all impressed because he runs around a lot, tackles hard and breaks up play, but these two weeks could be crucial for him and us.,

Look at it this way: Joe Morrell is going to Euro 2020. Liam Bridcutt has played for Scotland and in the Premier League. This pairing has to be one of the best in our division, bar none. Morrell will most likely be a Championship player next season and, barring a miracle, so will Bridcutt. If they settle together, particularly Liam who has barely caught breath since arriving, then we’re going to have a formidable pairing for the final two months of the season.

If Liam Bridcutt grows further in tune with our method and understands the players around him even better, we can all look forward to not bothering much about Tranmere, or anyone else, through the last month or so of the season.

  1. Yes it would be very nice to benefit from this break like we did last time.
Also to see some sort of improvent from Hopper and ,,Zack attack”… I won’t be holding my breath though after seeing them play. Not even a glimpse of anything so far….

In my eyes Scully is our biggest hope for improvement. Hopefully after these two weeks on the training ground he will be able to make something happening for us up front. But MA needs to play him on one position though. Preferably as a striker. You can’t change his position every 5mins like MA does at the moment and expect him to do well ….

As for Bridcutt I’m sure he will be fine. Good and experienced player.

Looking forward to see Morrell back too. Great player. When he plays well we play well as a team….

I know also what I would love to NOT see after this break. Hesketh in the team again … Playing him is sabotage……
