Craig Tanner

We could, if we wanted, bring in 25-year-old Craig Tanner. He was left without a club after leaving Motherwell last season, having scored six times in 26 SPFL outings across a three-year spell.

He was released on September 2nd, making him eligible to sign for another club. He started his career with Reading, playing for Wimbledon and Plymouth on loan before his move north of the border.

He has suffered much injury trauma in recent seasons though, undergoing two operations on his knee, which might have robbed him of the pace and energy we’re looking for on a short-term basis.
