Bruno Andrade

“He belongs to us, Burno Andrade,” is how the song goes, but if rumours are to be believed he might not belong to us for long.
Bruno is a good footballer. He’s quick, spots space well and is full of flicks and tricks. Whereas Harry is an old-style player, Bruno is very much the flamboyant wide man of the modern era, full of stuff the kids call ‘tekkers’ and flair. When he’s on song, he’s utterly unplayable.
I saw a remarkable comment on social media the other day, surely tongue in cheek, that said he’d had one good month. I had a look back and tried to see if I could figure out which month that was. Was it the explosive September in which he provided assists, into October where his relationship with Harry Toffolo increased, or maybe February when he won PFA Player of the Month?
Sure, he had slow patches in the season, but he did pick up injuries before Christmas and towards the end of the season. People keep mentioning the petulant red card, but seriously…. players get sent off all the time. When you’re on the grass and things are happening around you, it’s hard not to get drawn in. It’s easy as fans to say players should behave in a certain way, but in practice it’s tougher.
I thought he bounced back well and was a key player for us throughout the season. Yes, he sometimes goes down easily but then when he’s genuinely fouled it gets overlooked.
he got ten goals from open play, making him our leading scorer if penalties were discounted and when you throw assist in as well, it’s strange that anyone chooses to comment negatively about him at all.
Here’s a fact for you though; he’s our most saleable asset and if anyone is to go for a big fee to help fund League One, it’ll be Bruno.

The Forward line needs to be seriously looked at before next season, not sure if the current bunch will achieve in
League One. Im sure Danny will sort it in the closed season.
You are very generous to Harry. I’m afraid he had reached his potential.
