Here’s one I’d love to see join on loan, but the link is tenuous. He plays for Bristol Rovers and is one who could go out on loan after scoring just two in 13 League One matches. If he does head out, League Two looks like a destination likely to suit his talents.

He’s scored a lot up north, 42 in 133 for Queen of the South and 22 in 44 for St Mirren. He’s got an eye for goal, but that hasn’t come through at the Memorial Ground.

He’s more Shay McCartan than Matt Rhead, more Matt Green than John Akinde and if we could bag him on loan then there’s every chance we will swap places with his parent club in May.
