Craig Reid 2 (0) Apps, 0 Goals

Craig Reid was another player who came in off the back of Liam Hearn’s little spat in 2015. He was an emergency signing brought in as cover, but it was clear very quickly he wasn’t the answer. He had previously been in League One, playing in the same Stevenage side as Michael Bostwick. He then scored 12 goals in 45 games for Aldershot in League Two. He should have been good.
He played twice for Chris Moyses side, once in a 2-2 draw with Barrow in which he’s pictured above. Ironically, Liam Hearn was forced to sit that game out. He then played once more in the miserable 1-0 Boxing Day defeat against Halifax at Sincil Bank. There ended the Imps career of Craig Reid.
He scored a couple of times for Gainsborough Trinity after leaving Lincoln, then earned a move to League Two side Newport after a spell at Gloucester. He played 10 goalless games for the Exiles, but can at least say he finished playing in the Football League.
Somehow.
