The prizes for the last competition have now been sent out, so it is time to announce the new competition.
One complaint I had was users often forgot to predict a game and, when they did, they lost track and ended up not playing. To make it easier, game will go up several weeks in advance.
Also, to ensure that we’re a Lincoln City site, the only games on the league will be those featuring Lincoln. This way there’s not as many games a month, but they are Lincoln only. Also, you can predict several in one go and change as the fixture gets closer if you so desire.
I have another vintage away shirt as a prize for the winner, as well as second and third prizes announced closer to the time.
The scoring has altered too, making it easier to keep track of how you’re doing.
If you get the correct score, you’ll get 12 points (You predicted the Forest Green game to be 2-1 to Lincoln)
If you get the result right and the margin of victory right, you’ll get 6 points (You predicted the FGR match to be 3-2 to Lincoln)
If you get the correct outcome, but don’t get the goals right, you’ll get 5 points (You predicted the FGR game to be 1-0 to Lincoln)
If you get one team’s goals right but not the result you get 1 bonus point (You predicted the FGR game to be 0-1 to FGR)
