We ran a poll last night debating the dilemma facing Danny this evening. With Lee Frecklington back from his suspension, should he come back into the side and if he does, who drops out.
Now I didn’t realise that another Twitter user had done the poll the night before, so before those who accuse me of plagiarism creep out of the woodwork, a mention to @THEadamvickery. As it turned out, as the sample size increased, the demand from the fans remained the same.
Right let’s have this out then ..

Which midfield pair should the Imps go with tomorrow?

Overwhelmingly, Imps fans want to see Tom Pett and Michael O’Connor remain as the midfield pairing for this evenings trip to Tranmere. The consensus is this; if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Staggeringly, over 400 of the 445 who voted wanted Tom Pett to remain in the midfield one way or another. It is testament to his recent performances that he’s cemented a place in the fans hearts after a difficult start last season.
He arrived with many thinking he was a winger, but his performances in the middle of the park have been superb, so much so that it was hardly noticeable our captain picked up a suspension. Now, even with Freck back, Pett is a big call for a midfield role, alongside Michael O’Connor who’s competitive approach and non-stop hard work has also been impressive.
Here’s a selection of comments on the subject from Twitter users.
There's only one winner and it doesn't include Frecklington!

With Freck having been out for 3 games seems right for him to start on the bench and stake a claim for his place as a sub.
