Lincoln City Defender Makes Temporary Loan Switch

Lincoln City’s Noah Simmons has joined Skegness Town on loan.

Simmons, who made his senior debut earlier in the season at Harrogate Town, was included in the Lilywhites squad as they went down 4-1 against Newark Town this Saturday. His move comes after a brief spell with Loughborough students, where he got a couple of outings in a struggling side.

Able to operate anywhere on the left side of defence, the youngster made 26 appearances for the U18s throughout the 2024/25 campaign, scoring with a clever finish against Bradford City, which saw him nominated for the club’s February Goal of the Month.

He is also a Wales U15 international, following a call-up to a training camp back in 2021, and has clearly been recalled from his spell at Loughborough and sent out to get some regular senior football.

Daniel Vanderpuye has also been recalled by the club, as I understand. He did get a couple of outings for the Students, scoring in their game against Basford recently, but was a notable absentee from their game this weekend, which saw them beaten 2-1 by Coventry Sphinx after taking a 1-0 lead. Vanderpuye has also had a spell at Lincoln United this season, but fell out of favour under Billy Heath, who quickly fell out of favour himself.

As a reminder, the Imps also have Charlie Carlisle and Charlie Parks out on loan at Lincoln United and Gainsborough Trinity, while Bola Okewoye has been recalled from his spell at Grimsby Borough, having also spent a short time on loan with Billericay.
