Lincoln City Transfer New Emerges Around Exciting Duo

Two of the Lincoln City players out on loan will definitely remain with the current clubs until the end of the season, quelling any recall fears.

Zane Okoro and MJ Kamara are all getting minutes and experience away from Sincil Bank, and it has been confirmed that both will stay at their loan clubs until the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.

Both players are involved in a title challenge. Zane at Coleraine and MJ at Glentoran are both hoping to chase down Larne in a race for the league title. Okoro started as a regular and has recently seen minutes from the bench, while MJ has battled from getting no minutes to being an important part of his side’s progress.

“These loans are a big part of their education and we’re pleased with how both have applied themselves, performed and the opportunities they’re getting,” said City’s Director of Football, Jez George.

“We feel it’s important to loan our best young players to the highest level possible and in this case both clubs have everything to play for in the second half of the season and the loan is also providing both boys with valuable life, as well as football, experiences.”

Zane has played just over 1,000 NIFL minutes this season, but has been used as a sub in their last two matches, the most recent a damaging 3-0 defeat against title rivals Larne. He has three goals and an assist, but has not been involved in a goal since November 1st, when he provided an assist in the 5-1 thrashing of Glenovan.

MJ has had the opposite trajectory. He’s played 631 NIFL minutes, but only an hour of that came before December. He has had to bide his time, but he scored in the recent win against Portadown and played 77 minutes as Carrick Rangers were thrashed 7-0 on January 3rd.
