Bradford City: Hadi and Ibbitson sign new deals through 2027

Bradford City have confirmed fresh contracts for youngsters Zac Hadi and Harry Ibbitson, tying the pair to Valley Parade until at least summer 2027.

Goalkeeper Hadi, a regular in matchday travel groups, is currently gaining senior minutes at Clitheroe on an initial one-month loan, while forward Ibbitson has impressed at Chorley with four goals and a Player of the Month award for September. The duo turned professional together in 2024 and have continued to progress with exposure to first-team training and targeted loan spells.

Ibbitson made his City debut last season in the Vertu Trophy semi-final against Birmingham City and has since added end product and physical resilience at National League North level. The club view the extensions as a development investment with a clear pathway, using controlled loans to accelerate readiness without rushing either player.

Manager Graham Alexander believes both are tracking towards senior contention, provided standards remain high on the training pitch and in games.

“We think Harry and Zac deserve their new contracts as a reward for their progress. They have not broken into the first team just yet, but we believe they can do so if they keep training and performing as they are.”

The Bantams will review loan statuses heading into the winter period as squad needs evolve.
