Attendances Are Falling – No, They’re Not, and Here’s Proof

4th – Mark Kennedy (8272)

Lowest – 7,056 v MK Dons

Highest – 10,152 v Sheffield Wednesday

No, it isn’t. Attendances were poorest under Mark Kennedy, mainly because the football was the poorest, in my opinion. Only twice did we break 10,000, once on New Year’s Day against Ipswich and for his highest attedance, against Sheffield Wednesday.

On eight occasions, we got more than 9,000 for a home game under Kennedy, but 12 games fell below the 8,000 mark, including his final match against Burton Albion, in which we lost 1-0.

The lowest Saturday attendance under MK was 7,220 against Cheltenham Town, and the highest midweek figure 9,622 against Derby County.
