I do think Shane is a bit unlucky to be on here. He only managed 30 games, far fewer than many on the list, and the split is very close indeed. He’s tied as joint second most divisive, but we’ll put him third due to the low number of games.

It’s strange a man who salvaged a dying promotion campaign from John Beck was then forced to operate under extreme financial hardship the season after, and he’s still one you can’t make your mind up about. I’d say a lack of source material – i.e. matches, led to this placing.
