Will The Imps Be Revisiting These Former ‘Targets’ This Winter?

Randell Williams – Hull City

Fresh twist in Randell Williams transfer saga as rival club pull out of bidding war with Hull City - Hull Live

Williams was one we were linked with by a dodgy Twitter account, but it seems to have been accurate, as I heard his name mentioned a few times by people at the club in the months since. He was a top player for Exeter, but skipped League One and ended up in the Championship with Hull City. The 24-year-old started his career at Crystal Palace and operates at right full-back or on the wing. He’s again the right type of player for us, and he hasn’t been a key part of Hull’s squad either. He did pick up an injury earlier in the season, but has still played just 276 minutes for the Tigers.

The only real chance here would be a loan move with a view to permanent in the summer, but I can’t see Hull cutting their losses early. However, I could see him being the sort of player we might be interested in, certainly if we thought there was a chance.

Likelihood: 3/10
