The National League Stars Who Could Be on Lincoln City’s Radar

Omar Mussa – Weymouth

Omar Mussa – DOVER ATHLETIC FC

Mussa started his career as a youth with Belgian club KV Mechelen, coming over here to play for then League One side Walsall in 2019. He didn’t make an impression at the Bescot, and left after a single appearance. His journey then took him to Dover (booo) and recently Weymouth. It sounds relatively low key, but there’s a real talent here; he represented Belgium at Under 18 level, and was recently described in glowing terms by his new manager.” I’ve not seen a player with his amount of ability,” said Brian Stock. “There’s a lot he needs to learn, don’t get me wrong, but there’s a lot I like about Omar.”

The player only has one goal and three assists, but he tops the charts for through passes in the division, and I think he’s a creative influence with a lot to learn. His pedigree proves he has the base ingredients, and with the right coaches and facilities, he could be a star.
