Evan Ferguson

Centre-Forward – Brighton & Hove

A couple of things have driven me towards including Ferguson on the list. There’s obviously the Max Sanders links, and Ferguson has played for Ireland up to Under 21 level; he’s been in the same squad as Anthony Scully. Having started at Bohemians, he made a move to Brighton in 2020 and has represented them in the EFL Trophy. He is a striker, and one might argue that we already have a 17-year-old prodigy of our own and don’t need another, but seven goals in 12 Premier League 2 appearances is hard to ignore.
