Jamal Blackman
There was a time I thought Blackman was on a Dean Henderson style collision course with the top flight. Two loan spells stood out, with Wycombe and Sheffield United, and it seemed only a matter of time before he stepped up to either challenge at Chelsea, his parent club, or move on for big bucks. He’s now 27 years old, and as a former England U21 keeper, could not impress Chelsea enough during those loan spells to stay with the club. Last season, he was at Rotherham on loan and played ten games for Bristol Rovers in 2019/20. He’s certainly got a point to prove and is still young in keeper terms.
