I’ve used artistic license here: maybe Michael Hortin meant he was a striker from a former Premier League club, right? Diaby was tipped for a loan move away from the Hawthorns in January, but it didn’t happen. He’s now been released and at 21 certainly fits the bill of young player we could develop and mould. My gut feeling here is he may not want to drop to League One, and a Championship side could take a punt on him. The West Brom connection is tenuous, he would have been there for a short while whilst Michael was, which is why I’ve crowbarred him onto the list.
