There’s no connections with Baldock and Michael at all, he’s just a striker who is a free agent and has Premier League experience. He played just twice in the top flight, for Brighton, but has also represented MK Dons, West Ham and Bristol City. His stint with the latter is the most notable, scoring 36 goals in 90 appearances. In 2016/17, he netted 11 in 31 Championship games for Brighton as they were promoted to the top flight, but he’s since had a tough three-year spell with Reading.
