RW: Brennan Johnson

It’s business as usual up front, the injuries not really impacting the front three in any way. Brennan has been deployed in midfield, as a centre forward and out wide in recent weeks, but needs will dictate he starts wide this evening, surely. I do feel if players such as Scully, Anderson and Grant were fit, Brennan might be a good one to rest. I think he looked very tired in the latter stages of the game at the weekend, again a victim of so many games in such a short space of time.
LW: Morgan Rogers

This could be the stage for Morgan tonight. I think he’s been unlucky in the last few games; he has a real penetrating run and a nice bit of skill too, he just needs a little bit of luck. I think his pace could cause Paul Caddis issues from the left, and depending on how Swindon line up, there might be a bit of time for him to pick up the ball from deep. I think they’re expected to be 5-3-2 of sorts, which means he can act as the first line of defence by keeping the full back occupied this evening. For me, if we do have the injuries the press suggest, Morgan Rogers is our key man.
CF: Tom Hopper

Tom is in serious danger of becoming the first Imp this season to win your Player of the Month award twice, and another solid outing tonight would put him right up there. He’s already bagged two Man of the Match awards this month and he looks to be confident in front of goal too. For some, Tom has been a slow burner this season, but like Tayo Edun he’s really risen to the occasion of late. He might be a shout for captain, but he will almost certainly lead the line, and rightly so.
