I’ve done a few interviews over the years, managers, chairman and players, but this evening broke new ground for me.
It’s the first time I’ve spoken to an ex-player with a reputation that wasn’t all positive. It’s the first time I’ve spoken to someone who was so candid, about the good and the bad, that I came away feeling that we’d truly done enough to correct people’s opinions. Moses Swaibu does have a past, he hasn’t always been a model professional and yet in just under an hour of video interview, he presented himself in such a way it is hard not to change your opinion of him.
Whether it was the infamous chicken incident, the match-fixing or even revealing other issues he had during the pre-season before, he gave a really insightful and honest account of his time at Lincoln City. If you didn’t watch it, it really is a recommended watch even if I have to say that as the presenter. He discusses players, managers and paints a very different picture of some figures to what you might expect.
Whatever you think, give him your time and watch the video below. You won’t regret it.

Excellent. Enjoy that. Really brought back some memories of the names of players Moses talked about. Good on him, Thanks for sharing it.
The video is no longer available?
Really great watch, thanks Moses & Gary. Best of luck with everything Moses !
Sounds really interesting Gary but unfortunately the video isn’t working at the moment 🙁
He seems a decent chap but sorry what was all that about getting loads of offers before leaving Lincoln? He ended up at Kettering, on non-contract terms.
Superb watch! Thank you Gary and Moses.
