The Arsenal Connection: Who Might We See Here Next Season?

James Olayinka

Olayinka is a versatile 19-year-old who isn’t dissimilar to Tayo Edun. he can operate as a full back, pretty much anywhere down the right hand side and as a number eight or ten. He’s played in a couple of friendlies for their first team, as well as appearing for their Under 21 side in the EFL Trophy.

What makes me think he could be an option is his current status; he’s on loan with Northampton Town in League Two. That’s a lot like Ben Sheaf, who was at Stevenage last season and has stepped up to Doncaster this time out. Also, with Neal Eardley out of contract this summer and our options on the flank looking limited, he could well fill a possible squad gap.

  1. “The clubs sending players out on loan have to be assured their prospects are going to get regular football”.

Assurance are one thing, the reality might be different. Do we know why TJ Eyoma is not playing?

  2. Always plenty of talented players in Arsenal youth teams.. It would be nice if clubs will continue good relationship and we can land one of those talents here.
We were bit unlucky this year with TJJ but next time it might work out better for us.
