Finally, the penny has dropped! Play 4-4-2 at home with two pacy strikers, and that will be good enough to beat most teams at this level. Simples!
Finally we have the strikers to do it
OMG ….Why arenโt you the manager?
Good report. I especially liked the contribution from Tayo Edun yesterday. What a prospect.
Good advise from Gary; keep the faith and look forward!
Good article again Gary but not completely factually correct about Tayo.
His first half inexperienced positional sense showed him looking slightly lost on a few occasions but luckily we were not punished for it as Blackpool passed from side to side but admittedly 2nd half he looked like a natural footballer and comfortable on the ball as well as tackling when needed.
He tried to look for the through ball to the two front men and looks like a really creative midfielder in the making that will only get better at this level with more game time.
If we can keep our best loan players here and add one or two more with quality on the ball we are definitely not far off the other top sides in this division so while there is no talk of promotion via the play offs at present amongst most observers, I for one have felt we are capable at this level of mounting a challenge and have done before the signings.
I’d argue that your interpretation, and mine, are not fact.
Good league one game with happy end for us. Good moment to play Blackpool as well. Good debut for Tayo. Very intelligent player. LIttle bit lightweight i think but certainly full of quality. Good win. MA slowly makes me a believer….
Hallelujah, someone who knows nothing starts to know something…. but only a little something!!!!
If that’s the case at least there is some progress then… Could be lot worse. Could be like some of the others who think they know everything but in fact they know nothing or little something. Those are the worst ones … ๐
The sort of person who said this last month “Can last nights late winner for Ipswich be a sign of new and not very successful era of MA ?I hope not obviously but am afraid it can” and “I am praying for three worst teams than us at the end of the season in the table” would be the worst ๐
Oh no, this sort of person might be worrying too much at times but is harmless and first to admit when wrong…
I was about the ones who always think they right, always feel need to lecture people and love to concentrate too much on the others instead of themselves. These are the ones to avoid… ? ? โ๏ธ
Bit of practice needed on corners though !
This a great line! “This felt like a chance for us to be reminded of our place, the plucky midtable hopefuls who should be looking down and calculating, not up and speculating.”
Only time will tell Gary.
Good time to be an imp though with debate!
