Morgan Feeney – Everton

I’ve only seen this on one of those Twitter pages and if I’m honest, it’s not a move I can see happening. I would link to the post but I don’t follow the site and only actually saw it because Cornell sent it over, but I deleted his message to. I suppose the obvious link here is Everton, a club we had a good relationship with and who have loaned us Callum Connolly. The issue would be Connolly’s lack of game time, which might make the Toffeemen a little concerned about the possible development of another of their young players.

There’s also the fact Feeney’s contract is up this summer and he has already been told he might be allowed to leave on loan. At the age of 20 he is exactly the sort of player I can see MA going for; young enough to develop, possibly coming out of his top flight club and looking for a big chance.

The site that suggested the link didn’t seem reputable and I immediately dismissed it in my own mind, but after a bit of digging I can see wh a rumour like this would be constructed. Whether there is any truth in it is another matter.
