As an Oxford fan, a great big chunk of the fanbase wanted MApp out when we found ourselves just above the drop zone, but given time he built one of the best sides we ever had playing fantastic football week in week out. Give him a window or two and you’ll be up there

Surely you wasn’t expecting a promotion push Kev give him a couple of windows … he’s shored the defensive side up already as we’ve not conceded many … just a striker and a winger and hopefully we can turn these games into wins

When it takes a goal like this to beat you, I think Mr Appleton is doing very well in his efforts to make us “hard to beat”. On to Sunday https://t.co/T2MQOJsBa6

He was awful throughout the game so wasn’t suprised when he gave a yellow not the ref

Where the professional foul preventing a clear goal scoring opportunity on walker . Massive non decision by the ref

Played 21, 8 at home and 13 away. What is going on with this league this year? It’s all over the place

Are we really that hard to beat ?
We are in the way I guess. We are defending ok and not conceding many goals. Cool.
If you look from different perspective though it is relatively easy to beat us too as one goal is enough…
Looking forward to January.
Close game small margins one team hit the woodwork and scored the other hit the woodwork and didn’t sorry but the squad balanced injurys from pre season signing players that are injured
It is my understanding that you play according to the teams abilities and not trying toimpose a style on them.
I went to this. And it is a late reaction but I cannot believe that the team I watched then are the same I have listened to in the last two games. We were not a worse side, both were evenly matched. But going forward was dreadful. Ball to Walker’s feet and no one making a run forward so could only really come back or sideways. It was as poor as I have seen us going forward in years. But then three days later and I am driving down the M25 cheering each of our 5 goals. And while jogging around town to days ago I am fist pumping to our winner much to the bemusement of passing traffic. Moral of the story is, don’t worry about what you read into a game from IFollow. Few people, including “football people”, have any idea when trying to make a judgement from a game and what it means for the future.
