  1. It was a cracking performance against a suprisingly mediocre Sunderland side.(Warnings from their supporters in the pub before the match!) Let’s hope that this win heralds the restart of an ambitious, reinvigorated team to keep us safely In Division One. Next year is the big push to the Championship. This year it’s CONSOLIDATION! My cronies and I (three old codgers) were delighted to be in a 10,000 plus crowd after past years being surrounded by rows and rows of empty seats. I hope there’s enough money in the kitty for loans and beefing up the side in the January sales. IMPS FOREVER!

  2. Who has officially being credited with the First goal , has Tyler got six goals or seven, anyone know please ?

  3. A vital win particularly on the back of the poor run we’ve been having.
Hopefully the performance is a sign of things to come.
A mid table finish would be more than acceptable to me.

    • Agree, John. A mid-table finish will be acceptable to most Imps supporters. Appleton needs this season to stamp his mark on the side.So far, so good but there’s some way to go yet. Let’s see how we are performing in the New Year. Never thought in the 20 years I’ ve been watching City I would regularly see 8 to 10,000 plus gates. Great atmosphere! Stuff the Prem multi-millionaires! This is where real football’s at.

  4. Referee was not as bad as suggested … got big decisions right and I thought he kept up with play well…. I think we are still playing 5 2 3 1 but with more purpose. Best comment you left to last … we are indeed in good hands.
