Ben Coker

This is a bit of a cheat to start with, isn’t it? After all, we’ve been linked with Coker quite heavily in various outlets, but the fact is we haven’t announced him and neither have anyone else.

Everything about Coker screams ‘Danny’ to me. He’s just the sort of player he likes, battled up from non-league to be a consistent performer in League One. He’s been injured recently and needs to get back to full fitness but, when he does, he’s a serious handful on the left hand side.

There are question still to answer; if he signs what would it mean for our current left flank? Are the links merely agent chatter to get more interest? Or, has Coker already signed but Danny being Danny, he’s waiting to announce several in one go?

We’ll find out, all in good time.
