On Tuesday night we were delighted to be able to offer a full VIP experience to one lucky follower of the blog.
The winner was Steve Hendry and opted to bring his Dad to the game (his Dad is the one on the left). Steve had only been in the VIP area once, on his wedding day! He said his Dad was more excited than he was, which was quite something, but that it was only because he was looking forward to the padded seats!
After the madness of deadline day it seems a long while ago now, but Steve and his Dad witnessed a superb 3-1 win for City.They enjoyed a nice beef roll beforehand too, it must have been good as Steve sent me a picture.
I’d like to thanks Stigs and Karen at Curves. Often, sponsors give tickets away to anyone they can, but the guys at Curves were really keen to make sure these went to fans of the club, which is why they involved me. They didn’t have to do that, so thank you to both for the kindness. For the record, they also hosted me in the box they had as match sponsors too, another nice gesture. As regular readers know I have a back problem which is slowly getting worse, so occasionally having a bit of comfort is a real blessing.
